I currently find myself in the very East of Slovakia. There is so much inspiration to be found in this part of the world, if you know where to look. For my first photo essay I wrote about a nearby castle Brekov | Brekov Castle
The Fly
I’ve pretty much been neglecting this site for a while and concentrating on other areas. Now that I’ve got more time on my hands and getting more organised with the photo work it is time to concentrate on this again | The Fly set is a small set of free hand macro shots taken with my 100mm EF Macro lens.
Brookfield Zoo, IL
Is a zoological garden really nature; anyway, this was a very quick trip to the local zoo and given two children to run after an make sure they don’t play with the Tigers I still managed to fire off a few shots. Very impressed with the indoor sea centre | Brookfield Zoo

Outdoor Heritage Museums

A quick walk in Chicago
Even living so close to Chicago doesn’t mean I get to hang around and photograph the place the whole time. However, sometimes I get lucky and can wander through the place and take the place in. **Updated, now with more Chicago| Chicago 01
The Tatras, Slovakia
This mountain range forms part of the Carpathians. From the perspective of the Slovak side (there is also a Polish side) these mountains form part of the Slovak identity and are equally spectacular | The Tatras
Singapore Clouds
Storms provide a spectacular photographic opportunity; when it isn’t stormy the cloudscapes are as equally impressive | Singapore Clouds
Wooden Churches
Slovakia is rich in heritage, part of that heritage includes these wonderful wooden churches. This collection is take in the North East | Wooden Churches
Prague Storms
